Envisioning Independence Day for the Animals
Compassionate Summer Celebrations and Meat-free Gatherings
Celebrate compassion this holiday and find independence from animal-consumption. On today's show we'll hear of the many vegan summer gatherings, compassionate national conferences, and animal-free celebrations and vacations now available to those committed to a cruelty-free lifestyle. Hear about the 35th Annual Vegetarian Summerfest in the wooded hills of Pennsylvania, the National Animal Rights Conference in sunny Los Angeles, and an exotic getaway to Costa Rica for families and singles interested in exploring the vegan lifestyle with Dr. John McDougall. Also we'll get an update about our local Independence Day celebration with Society of PEACE, gone Hawaiian style for the occasion. We'll pay a visit to some regional animal sanctuaries to understand the lives of animals spared from slaughter and hear an exclusive interview with animal rights musician Justine Mayela. All this and more on today's episode of VEGAN WORLD RADIO.
