Happy Valentine's Day!

Love is in the Air--Have a Compassionate Valentine's Day!!

Today on Vegan World Radio we celebrate Valentine's Day and explore love and compassion in all guises, even between and among species! We begin with an interview with Independent Filmmaker Donny Moss, whose film Blinders has won national acclaim as it covers the brutal horse-carriage trade in New York City. As we find out, riding a horse carriage is a highly cruel and UNromantic way to spend Valentine's Day! We then continue our conversation with Mark LaPolla of Life By Chocolate, who has designed an entire vegan line of chocolates, perfect for the holiday. We then speak with Tracy Frank of Sara Sanctuary, who is lovingly and generously, as is her annual tradition, offering a compassionate alternative for kids and families who don't want their 4H animals to go to slaughter. We explore a brief interlude of the beauty of love between an elephant and a dog. And finally, we close our special Valentine's Day show with an interview of a very handsome, amazing, vibrant, and exciting vegan couple, Geoff and Vanessa Palmer, who were both vegan for many years before they met. When they finally met, all kinds of compassionate sparks filled the air! We'll hear their inspiring love story, as they regale us with tales about their vegan wedding, vegan reception, and vegan honeymoon. All this and more on today's Vegan World Radio!
