# 39 : 13 April 2009
On today's show we take a closer look at the outdated and cruel industry of vivisection, as Dr. Elliot Katz of In Defense of Animals explains the global observation of World Week for Animals in Laboratories.
We'll also investigate the opportunities for outreach to faith-based communities in bringing the message of animal compassion into houses of worship, and learn of the ongoing hunger relief efforts the International Vegetarian Relief Charity, Food for Life here in Houston.
