* To educate the public about house rabbits and their care.
* To emphasize the need for all rabbits to be spayed or neutered.
* To provide homeless rabbits with foster homes, exercise,
and attention until each can be placed in a loving, indoor
home as a valued family member.
* To step in and rescue or foster special-needs rabbits,
who are at risk of death or injury, whenever possible.
We Are Not a Shelter. If you plan to attend, please confirm beforehand that the people or bunnies you want to meet will be there and submit your adoption application in advance. Contact events at www.bunnybuddies.org
And unfortunately we don't have offices or paid staff either. Bunny Buddies is simply a group of dedicated volunteers working out of their homes, often at their own expense.

€˜Food Matters' is a hard hitting, fast paced look at our current state of health. Despite the billions of dollars of funding and research into new so-called cures we continue to suffer from a raft of chronic ills and every day maladies. €˜Food Matters' seeks to uncover the business of disease and at the same time explore the safe, cheap and effective use of nutrition and supplementation for preventing and often reversing the underlying causative aspects of the illness. With the premise of the film being: access to solid information helps people invariably make better choices for their health.The public is welcome to socialize at 6:30pm on Tuesday, April 21st in the Meeting Room of the Montgomery County South Regional Library (next door to Woodlands Pavilion) at 2101 Lake Robbins Drive in the Woodlands. The film begins promptly at 7pm so that a discussion can follow.

"Now, to Mr. Williams'
request.... among the improvements he wants to make is to stop the
deaths of so many puppies and kittens from diseases at BARC. Since
they are too small for all of their vaccinations, their immune systems
just can't handle the diseases that are at BARC. Most just don't make
it out of BARC. Mr. Williams' goal is for puppies and kittens to
never enter BARC at all. He wants field personnel to be able to take
them directly to temporary foster homes. I think this is a great idea
and will save lots of tiny lives. That's where we need your help.
I am developing a list of rescue
groups and individuals who will agree to take puppies and kittens to
foster temporarily. I would like it to be a fairly large list so that
none of us gets bombarded and overwhelmed. The good news is that field
personnel will bring the animals to you, so you don't have to try to
get to BARC before it closes. We also talked about having medicines
delivered if the little ones should get sick .... I know almost all of
my foster kitties end up with upper respiratory infections or diarrea.
Pretty simple to fix but it's next to impossible for me to get to BARC
to get meds. He's trying to make it as convenient as possible, but we
will probably have to work out some kinks along the way since this is a

We'll be gathering at Memorial Park in Houston on Saturday, April 25 for an afternoon of great vegan food, family fun & mingling! Our family-friendly picnic will begin at 1:00 PM. We'll have outdoor activities for all ages, as well as door prizes and free Veg Starter Guides. *Please remember to bring a vegan dish to share with the group! We'll provide the cold refreshments and ice.
